ABOUT. US.

I am from a small town in Kentucky but now live in Louisville.  I have always been looking for ways to help my hometown. Earlier this year I volunteered at my church in Louisville to provide free prom dresses to underprivileged girls and I immediately knew this is something that small towns desperately need.  Small towns often do not have the same resources/help available as larger cities can offer and we want to bridge that gap!

We would like this model to become something that we can make mobile all over Kentucky in rural areas!  We hope this is only the beginning, and that we can identify and meet other needs that are currently not being addressed in small towns!

Our Goals:

* Provide FREE prom dresses to girls who would otherwise not be able to get a dress

* Show the girls the love of God

* Create lasting long term mentoring relationships for the girls

* Relieve the financial burden of prom from their family

* Show the girls that they have the support of their community!

The quick answer is because we saw a need and wanted to help!

The more in depth answer is.......did you know.......

The average rural KY family income is around $28,000 per year

The average cost of a prom in KY is around $1200

Yes, prom is not a "necessity" but every parent wants to see their children not miss out on opportunities.  By providing dresses we are helping the family financially and mentoring girls!

Why. Are. We. Doing. This?
